It is a great hotel that I would stay at for fun. There wasn't a gift shop/snack shop where you can just grab a snack or coffee. Along with lots of laughing, yelling outside and in the hallway. But at almost 11:00 pm it was still going strong. I did call and ask when the music is going to be over on a weeknight and they said by 10:00 pm. Only one restaurant and it was pricey for both dinner and breakfast. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything (hallway, traffic, music, tv). As a business traveler whose room was facing the pool it was very loud. Website says on weekends but I was there on Thursday and they had music this night. You can get pizza at pool and chill for an evening. Restaurant on site (kind of pricey but good). The hotel is a cool boutique hotel but not for a business traveler. Any talking or noise in the hall came right through into the room. The unique barn doors to the bathroom, were also noisy. There does not appear to be any insulation between the rooms and the hallway. Only drawback to the hotel was the noise. Overall a great experience in the heart of downtown El Paso. We were there for a wedding, so on wedding day getting the car in and out several times, could have been a hassle, but the valet was well manned and worked with us to keep the car available quickly. Parking is via Valet, but the service was fast and courteous. Unusual lobby, the check-in desk is located on the 5th floor, near the main bar and pool. The breakfasts included a large selection of foods, good coffee and good service one out of two days that we visited. We purchased breakfast added to the room and enjoyed a nice breakfast in a facility connected to the hotel. Recently renovated with very comfortable beds, great bathroom with a huge shower. Great experience from check in to check out.
